September 2026

A huge thank you to our team of volunteers who made the most of last weekend’s sunshine to clear the common track and adjoining bridleways.

Whole trees were cleared, along with holly that seemed to have taken on a life of its own, plus overgrown branches from the beech trees. The result is a clear, accessible track that is much safer for all of us to enjoy.

Huge thanks go to all our helpers, ranging from age 3 right up to... well, we’d rather not say! Next time, we’ll make sure the refreshments are top-notch, so please let us know if you’d like to join us for a future clearance session.

Maintaining our tracks wouldn't be possible without our volunteers. Thank you all for your hard work and exceptional sawing abilities!

Peter, Lindsey, Caroline, Becki, Judy, Jacqui, Doug, Harry, Arthur, and Helen — thank you!

Joining as a member helps to keep us and our horses off the road and enables us to fund this essential clearance work, your support is so much appreciated.
